Morpeth Men’s Shed High Tea
High Tea Fundraiser Brings Community Together
Morpeth Men’s Shed High Tea held on Thursday, 23 April
The Morpeth Men’s Shed generously hosted a delightful High Tea on Thursday, bringing the community together in support of the valuable services provided by Volunteers for Palliative Care (VFPC). The event was a wonderful success, raising over $2,000.
Guests were treated to an impressive spread of homemade delights, including slices, cakes, biscuits, and sandwiches. The care and effort put into the catering was evident with every bite.
The atmosphere throughout the day was warm and filled with connection. Paul Lindeman kept the energy high, expertly hosting and leading a lively trivia session that had everyone engaged. A variety of fantastic raffle prizes, generously donated by friends and family of the Morpeth Men’s Shed community, added to the excitement.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone involved in organising and supporting this event. The generosity and effort shown truly made the day special. VFPC Chairperson, Ross Iles and Volunteer Coordinator, Amy O’Donnell were in attendance and were humbled by the experience.
Special thanks to Scott Crawford and Paul Lindeman.
